Not too technical to hook up a record player to your computer? No worries. Just find a professional audio/video production company to convert your records for you. Why download software that you may only use once or twice. Why spend hours pulling out your hair trying to get the software to work on your computer. There are plenty of software sites willing to sell you software but does your computer have the correct inputs? Way too complicated for me.
Contact a professional video or audio production company that will convert your records, cassettes or even those 8-Track tapes to audio CD or your MP3 player.
A buddy of mine had his entire record collection converted to CD. He plays his CD's while he is on the road each day with and hour and a half commute to work each day. Think about those long trips in the car with no radio station to listen to while driving from "tim-buck-one" to "tim-buck two". Pop in a CD that you had made from one of your favorite vinyl records.
Some vinyl records are out of print or they were never converted to CD by the record companies. Now you can enjoy and better yet, preserve that favorite record on CD. Want to listen to your records while out jogging or taking a walk? Have the company convert them to your MP3 player for even more enjoyment. Yes, there is a service charge related. Most of the time it is per record for the labor to convert it. But it will be worth it when you can enjoy your records again while out and about.
